We have partnered with Karna Fitness instructor, Catherine Milliken, to offer you Restore the Core™.
Restore the Core™ is 50 minutes of intense core conditioning. This mat-based, pilates-style workout tones your tummy, tightens your abs, and lifts your behind! We will pay particular attention to the transverse abdominus which is the deepest muscle in the abdomen and the key to tightening the lower belly region that gets stretched during pregnancy. This class has also been known to reduce back pain and strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. You will see and feel the results!
New in 2016: we will incorporate the Karna Ball in classes! The Karna Ball, developed by Physical Therapist Christina Christie, is a functional exercise product designed to support the pelvic core neuromuscular system.
Restore the Core is $75 for six classes
*The equipment cost $65 and is required for new members and is a one-time fee and the equipment is yours to keep. Included is a resistance band, The Karna Ball, and nylon backpack. The Karna Ball, developed by Physical Therapist Christina Christie, is a functional exercise product designed to support the pelvic core neuromuscular system.
Meet Catherine: She is an active mom of two young boys, Luke and Connor. An avid runner, she is thrilled to have the opportunity to help women reach their fitness goals. Catherine is an ACE certified Group Fitness instructor, AFAA certified personal trainer, and is also certified in Pre and Postnatal fitness.
Restore the Core™ can accommodate 12 women and meets in our Open Play Space next to Plaster Funtime. Registration is required and on a first come, first serve basis.
