Frequently Asked Questions
1. How are you different from other Open Play spaces?
3. How does Cobblestones differ from Early Intervention?
Cobblestones offers support for families with or without concerns regarding their child’s development. Our services are preventive in nature and span from pregnancy through preschool.
4. What can I expect during Open Play?
Lots of fun and learning is going on during our open playtime! Our center is broken up into four main areas: Infant Discovery, Dramatic Play, Sensory and Manipulatives and Gross Motor Play. As professionals we know that children learn through play, as mothers we know that each child is unique in the way they learn. We have creatively combined the four main areas of discovery and play into our unique play center. Click here to review our Open Play rules.
5. I want to sign up for a Developmental Play Group, but my 7 month old isn’t crawling yet. How do I know which Developmental Play Group my child should be in?
Due to the fact that each child develops at his or her own rate, the age ranges provided are an estimate of the “typical age” you will see in these groups. We are more interested in where your child is developmentally, and less worried about how old they are. We encourage you to call our center if you have any questions regarding which class is best for your specific child and needs.
